Refractive and Post Operative Care Optometrist

Dr. Jacqueline Albert is a Kern County native, born and raised in Bakersfield. She graduated from Stockdale High School and continued her education at Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition. Before attending optometry school, she worked full-time as a registered dietitian.

Dr. Albert obtained her optometric doctorate at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton after successfully completing rotations at Hoopes Vision in Salt Lake City, UT, Bakersfield Veteran’s Hospital, Ketchum Health in Anaheim, CA, and Mayer and Shah Optometric in Hanford, CA.

Dr. Albert is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), California Optometric Association (COA), and serves locally as Continuing Education Coordinator and Vice President for Kern County Optometric Society.

Out of office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, trying out new eateries, and spoiling her bengal cat, Bogey.
